Well for me it was the start of the health-care exchange; it impacted the entire country, I believe.

__January is National Soup Month. What's your favorite soup?__

Tortilla soup. It's a recipe I picked up and customized in San Antonio about 10 years ago, and everybody loves it.

__What winter sports do you follow?__

Scott City Rams, professional St. Louis Cardinals, and we like the Missouri Bulls.

__What sort of winter vacation suits you?__

Before my boys were playing in the Christmas tournament, my husband's a farmer, so we used to go on cruises and other trips because that's when we traveled. Then I had one son doing the tournament and now my other son is a sophomore, so it will be a few years before we can do it again.
