What is your favorite exercise/which exercise is most effective?
Heather: "I really like to do short sprints to work on leg power."
James: "I like to do jumping exercises to make my legs strong."
How do you stay physically fit?
Heather: "During the summer I lifts weights, run and swim to stay in shape."
James: "Over the summer I bale hay and run every day. I like to play basketball. During the season, just practice and lift."
Where do you work out, and how often?
Heather: "During track season I work out five to six days a week. During the summer I work out around four to five days a week. I work out at school and swim in Cape."
James: "During the season I work out five to six days a week, usually from 2 to 2 1/2 hours."
What do you think of supplements?
Heather: "I like to take multivitamins, but I don't take any supplements."
James: "I'm totally against supplements. I may take some vitamins, but I don't touch supplements."
How do you motivate yourself?
Heather: "My college is paid for because of track. It's also a matter of pride -- I don't like to be beat."
James: "I just like the competition, and my parents keep after me. I also have a brother. He really pushes me."
