The Cape Girardeau County Firefighters Association presented a $7,755.21 check to the Burns Recovered Support Group. Funds were collected at Buchheit in Jackson; Elias Ace Hardware in Cape Girardeau; Walmart in Cape Girardeau; Rhodes 101 at highways 34 and 72, at U.S. 61 and Highway 177 and at Highway 25 and Route N; The Lazy L Petting Zoo; and the Cape Girardeau Elks Club, which raised $2,725 for the support group.
