Daisy Girl Scouts from St. Mary School made blankets and donated them to the Building Blocks of Missouri Program. The girls used money they earned from their fall product sales to purchase the fleece for these blankets. Building Blocks is a free nurse family partnership offered to first-time mothers in Southeast Missouri. The blankets donated by the Daisy troop will provide a clean, safe area for mothers to play with their babies on the floor. The girls also chose to waive their incentive prizes from selling cookies to include the money in a donation to the American Red Cross to help families in Haiti.
