Crown Hospice has been working with students in Stephanie Martin's community service class at Jackson Middle School for a service project to create Christmas-themed memory books for hospice patients and their families. A memory book helps aging and Alzheimer's patients have a visual reminder of memories they may not remember clearly. Families can sit and discuss their favorite Christmas memory or tradition or recipe. The students in the class have been assembling the books to be delivered by Crown hospice staff this week.
