The Nancy Hunter Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution met March 23 at the Cape Girardeau Public Library. Janet Stovall and Cheri Smith were guests. Donna Grantham introduced her husband, Tom, historian and volunteer at the Glenn House, who gave a PowerPoint presentation, "Cape Girardeau: Stepping Back in Time." A certificate of appreciation was presented to him for an outstanding program.

The president general's March message was read by Carolyn Webb. The National Defense Report was given by Jan McClanahan. Scarlett Puls read the minutes of the February meeting in the absence of secretary, Sue LeBruyere.

A book of Revolutionary War pensions was donated to the Genealogy Room of the Cape Girardeau Public Library in memory of Mary Lee Rasmussen.

Regent Charlotte Slinkard read Article V of the bylaws pertaining to the election of a nominating committee. Those nominated to the committee to elect new officers were Carolyn Webb, Ruth Lang, Jan McClanahan, Scarlett Puls and Donna Grantham.

The next meeting will be April 27 at the Cape Girardeau Public Library. Kaye Hamblin will present the program, "Finding Julia."
