Jackson High School athletics and Southeast SportsCare teamed up for Champions Against Cancer this fall. The boys soccer and swim teams and the girls softball, tennis and volleyball teams raised money at designated games to help in the fight against cancer. This year's campaign raised $5,200, which was split between Jackson athletics and the Southeast Cancer Center Patient Experience Fund. SportsCare and SoutheastHEALTH Foundation officials presented a check for $2,119 to Jackson Athletics.
