Briner-Fleck scholarship established

The Judith Briner and Cynthia Fleck Endowed Scholarship has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. Judith Briner and Cynthia Fleck, both of St. Louis, made a $10,000 gift to establish the scholarship. The recipient of the scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast with a minimum 3.0 grade-point average who is majoring in nursing and is in need of financial assistance. Briner is the mother of Fleck, who graduated from Southeast with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
