Brienna Silver completes Air Force basic training

Air Force Airman Brienna I. Silver graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. The airman completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. She is the daughter of Daniel Silver of Murphysboro, Ill., and Inga Comer of Cape Girardeau. Silver is a 2006 graduate of Murphysboro High School.
