Bloomfield Elementary students raised and donated $4219.36 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts in the earthquake stricken country Haiti.The students collected change and other donations from the Bloomfield community for 8 days.Bloomfield Elementary School principal Amy James said of the efforts, "This was a great life lesson for the students. They realized that they can bring in a little and watch it accumulate into a lot by working together for a common goal. They realize that their efforts will have a huge impact on the people of Haiti."
