Birth outcomes will be topic at conference

The Missouri Bootheel Healthy Start Regional Consortium is hosting a free conference Friday as part of a low birth weight partnership initiative. The all-day conference "The Relationship Between Domestic Violence and Negative Birth Outcomes," starts at 8 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast, includes lunch and ends at 4 p.m. Speakers will discuss violence and negative birth outcomes, building cultural effectiveness, low birth weight and immigrants and domestic violence.
