Baptist association names new director of missions

The Rev. Bill Jetton has joined the Cape Girardeau Baptist Association as director of missions. A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, Jetton joined the associational staff in early November. The Cape Girardeau Baptist Association has 32 member churches and is aligned with the Missouri Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention. Before being called to his new role, Jetton worked as a Southern Baptist Convention missionary and pastor. He has been a team leader in sports evangelism with the International Mission Board in Africa and a director of missions with the North American Missions Board in Colorado.
