Awards and scholarships

Several local students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2013-2014 academic year:

• Allyson Bock of Uniontown, Mo., was awarded the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award.

* Reagan Brown of McClure, Ill., and Timbre Craig, of Anna, Ill., were awarded the University Scholarship and Midwest Achievement Award.

* Mallory Dickson of Cape Girardeau, Kacie Sandlin of Jackson and Ethan Seyer of Oak Ridge have earned the Regents' Scholarship.

* Joshua Sander of Cape Girardeau was awarded the Governor's Housing Scholarship and Governor's Scholarship.

* Joseph Deiermann of Cape Girardeau is the recipient of the University Scholarship.

* Aleah Little of Sikeston, Mo., was awarded the Residence Life Leadership Award.
