Local woman honored with Baumstark Award

Hannah Todt was named the 2011 Baumstark Award winner at the annual Saint Francis Auxiliary volunteer breakfast at the Drury Lodge. The award was created in honor of Vernice Baumstark, the first auxiliary president, who served Saint Francis for 35 years and is given each year to the person who best represents the organization's dedication, loyalty and service to the hospital. Todt began volunteering at Saint Francis in 1977. She has recorded 5,500 hours since then.
