Teresa McCulloch, CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri, was awarded the Pioneer in Leadership award at the annual conference of the Missouri Alliance for Home Care at the Lake of the Ozarks. The award recognizes an individual with extraordinary service to the Home Care industry. Under McCulloch's leadership the VNA has expanded coverage area from five counties to fifteen and has grown from a grant of $100,000 in 1973 to a multi-million dollar not-for-profit company with over 500 employees. McCulloch is also active in supporting events such as UCAN, Relay for Life and the Alzheimer's Association, and she currently serves on the Department of Health's Home Health Advisory Council, the Missouri Council for In-Home Services and the Missouri Alliance for Home Care Board of Directors.
