The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will present an exhibition by the Paducah Printmakers and an exhibition of photography from Mingo National Wildlife Refuge during May. The Paducah Printmakers are a group of six artists whose work includes intaglio, woodcuts, linoleum cuts, aqueous printing, monotypes and clay monotypes, alone or in combination with one another as mixed media pieces. The Cape Girardeau Central High School choral department will present its annual Pop Concert at 7 p.m. May 4 at La Croix United Methodist Church on Lexington Avenue. High school choral groups will perform songs from the musical "Grease," "Phantom of the Opera" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" under the direction of Dina Strickert. WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. -- Artists will descend on Webster Groves May 5 to compete in the Paint Webster Plein Aire Painting Competition. The competition is sponsored by 63119 Art, the Webster Community Arts Foundation and the Monday Club of Webster Groves. The Southeast Guitar Ensemble, affiliated with Southeast Missouri State University, will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Brandt Hall Room 205 on the university campus.
