Conger to perform at recital March 29
Robert Conger will present a trombone recital at 7:30 p.m. March 29 at Old St. Vincent's Church. The program will feature original works for trombone including the concerto for eb alto trombone by George Christoph Wagenseil, the concerto for t-bone by Johan DeMeij, the "Trombonology" tribute to Tommy Dorsey and "Czardas" by Vittorio Monti. Local film festival takes place March 24
The third annual Show Me Digital Film Festival will take place March 24 at Port Cape Girardeau. The festival was originally scheduled for Feb. 24 but had to be pushed back due to a scheduling conflict. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a full slate of short films and free food provided. Seyer to appear on 'Identity' March 23
Miss Missouri USA Amber Seyer of Oran, Mo., will appear on the NBC game show "Identity" the same night as the live broadcast of the Miss USA Pageant on NBC March 23. Seyer will appear as one of 12 "strangers" on "Identity." Contestants try to guess the identity of those "strangers" for a chance at $500,000. Two other Miss USA contestants will also appear on the episode. "Identity" will air at 7 p.m., and the pageant will follow at 8 p.m.
Drivin' Rain to play '80s tribute March 31
Local rock band Drivin' Rain will play an '80s Tribute Night Party on March 31 at Breakaways. The band will perform hits from '80s metal bands, and there is no cover for those who show up in '80s costumes.
St. Louis Art Museum hosts free performance
