All the small things

It is often easy to overlook the small, seemingly simple things. The big picture can be overpowering when trying to tell a story visually. However, sometimes the simple details bring out the most interesting aspects of a topic.

The hair on a soybean as opposed to expansive fields; a small bug on a rose instead of the variety of colors at Capaha Park; a spider web rather than the trail at Arena Park.

I don't purport to know too much. So a simple approach to photography can tell a complex story. Involving too many whistles and bells can derail the emphasis. That being said ... it's probably best to have a little of both: detail and overall.
