5KFVS run/walk raises $8,280 for United Way

KFVS12 recently held its second annual 5KFVS run/walk, raising $8,280 for the United Way of Southeast Missouri. The event had 450 runners and walkers, including many of the news team. The number of participants nearly doubled from the previous year. Many area businesses provided sponsorships to help with United Way's community efforts.
