Tom Kelsey, president and broker for Lorimont Place Ltd. in Cape Girardeau received an Award of Excellence designation for 2013 by the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors. The recognition is given to members who produce multimillion-dollar volume for property sold and leased during the year. Kelsey qualified for the pinnacle level, or highest volume, for the award. He has been a recipient of the top sales award for the last 18 years.
Kim Dixon was named shelter manager of the Safe House for Women. Dixon previously worked as child advocate for the Safe House. Her responsibilities include overseeing shelter operations and case management. Dixon is a 2007 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in social work.
Molly Woeltje was named education and outreach coordinator of the Safe House for Women. Woeltje has worked for the Safe House since 2007 and previously was case manager. Her responsibilities include team teaching healthy relationships and abuse prevention and awareness to schools, churches, organizations and businesses in the area.
Carrie Mott was hired as child advocate and case manager for the Safe House for Women. Her responsibilities include ensuring residents and children are connected to services and receive assistance needed to meet their goals and serving as a liaison between the Safe House and other community agencies. She previously worked with Beacon Health Center and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in social work.
