Robert Thomas Securities Inc., a full-service investment firm, has announced the opening of locally owned and operated independent brokers offices in Cape Girardeau and Columbia.

Kevin Stewart, who previously managed Union Planters Bank Investment Center, owns and operates both offices.

The new Cape Girardeau office is at 351 Silver Springs Road, Suite 101.

Steward has more than 12 years financial and investment experience, including four years as portfolio manager and senior vice president of a top-rated, closed-end mutual fund. He previously operated the investment center at Capital Bank, before its sale to Union Planters Bank.

Over the past years, Union Planters contracted with Robert Thomas Securities to provide its investment services.

"I have been impressed with Robert Thomas Inc.," said Stewart. "I look forward to continuing to provide the same level of services, as well as some new accounts/services, to my existing client base."

As a locally owned/operated office, Stewart now offers a full menu of Robert Thomas Securities products and services.

Thomas Securities, a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, offers stocks, bonds, mutual funds, equity research, profession money management, insurance products, estate planning, trust services, retirement planning services and others services.
