BioKyowa Inc. recently announced a number of promotions in connection with the expansion of the L-Lysine production area of the plant in Nash Road Industrial Park.
Charlie Goodpasture of Jackson has been promoted to production operations manager for the L-Lysine Division. He has 17 years experience in management of operations and construction projects. John Myers of Cape Girardeau and Mike Kluesner of Oran have assumed process superintendent positions.
Myers is superintendent for fermentation and has more than 16 years experience in supervisory, extraction and fermentation. Kluesner, superintendent for extraction's, has more than 15 years experience in supervisory, extraction, fermentation, power plant and maintenance.
Receiving promotions to shift supervisors were Mike Ashworth, Kyle Hahn, Wilbur Kirk and Dan School. Jim Shrum was promoted to Lysine warehouse supervisor and Doug Carr to Lysine laboratory supervisor.
