LETTERS: THINK HARD BEFORE YOU USE METH

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

To the editor:

I am writing to all the methamphetamine users and sellers in this area. You may not think you are addicted or need help, but my husband was there at one time. He started out not addicted, then sold meth to feed his habit. He lost seven years of his life, five in federal prison and two being addicted and awaiting trial and sentencing.

You may think you don't need help, but take it from someone who's been there and is still there. I am trying to be a father and mother to our two boys, along with trying my hardest to keep bills paid and food on the table.

Think long and hard about your life and your family's life before you do another line or use another needle, because it can will eventually happen to you. The authorities are doing a lot now to get this drug off the street. Please think.
