Chaffee senior Layton Tenkhoff started off his senior baseball season in perfect fashion with an 8-for-8 performance in a doubleheader sweep of Meadow Heights.

Tenkhoff went 4 for 4 in each of the games, including a double, a triple and four RBIs in the second contest. He scored five times in the season-opening sweep and finished with six RBIs.
Tenkhoff is a three-sport athlete at Chaffee, also playing football and basketball.
