Cape Girardeau's Susan Beth Scott continued to collect hardware at the IPC Short Course World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Scott, 17, captured the silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle Thursday. She touched the wall in 29.44 seconds.
The silver medal is her fourth at the meet. She won a gold medal in the 400 freestyle and bronzes in the 200 individual medley and 400 freestyle relay.
Scott returns to action Saturday when she competes in the 100 freestyle and medley relay.
