Southeast Missouri State wide receiver and Caruthersville graduate Peter Lloyd was named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced Sunday.
Lloyd caught 10 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns in the Redhawks' 31-27 win over the University of Tennessee at Martin on Saturday night.
Lloyd shared the award with Jacksonville State quarterback Eli Jenkins.
Southeast punter Alex Knight earned Specialist of the Week honors. He averaged 45.7 yards on his three punts in the Redhawks' victory.
Knight and the special teams were singled out by Southeast coach Tom Matukewicz for being a key in the win. The Redhawks downed one punt at the 1-yard line and faked another, which led to a 26-yard gain by tight end Ron Coleman.
Southeast quarterback Kyle Snyder and wide receiver Paul McRoberts shared the Offensive Player of the Week honors last week and kicker Ryan McCrum was named Specialist of the Week earlier in the season.
Southeast (2-2, 1-0 OVC) will host Tennessee State at 1 p.m. Saturday.
