McNabb makes Olympic Development team

Former Cape Central soccer player Bret McNabb has been named to the men's Under 19, Region 2 Olympic Development team.

McNabb, one of 18 players chosen from 14 Midwest states, will train with the team this month at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.

On scholarship at Oakland University, McNabb, a 2001 graduate of Cape Central, started 16 of his team's 17 games this fall. Oakland University finished first in the Mid-Continent Conference.
