MARSHALL, Mo. -- The Jackson Senior Babe Ruth baseball team defeated Southwest Ozark 13-4 Saturday to move into the winner's bracket final of the Senior Babe Ruth State Tournament.
Winning pitcher Whit Thornborough allowed just four hits for Jackson (26-3), which will face Booneville at 1 p.m. today.
Rick Renfro went 4-for-5 with two RBIs to lead the offense. Garrett Williams, G.P. Glueck and Thornborough all finished with two hits. Williams, Glueck and Philip Seyer each had two RBIs.
