  • The 5-foot-11 senior helped Notre Dame capture its first district title in three years by scoring 19 points a game to go along with 12 rebounds. Burger's patented left hook was an unstoppable force down low.

Brittney Peet, sr., Scott County Central

  • Peet once again provided the Bravettes with tenacious defense. The 5-6 guard used her quickness to get to the hoop and score 18 points in an upset win over undefeated Delta in the sectional round.

Kaci Menz, sr., Delta

  • Menz was Delta's top all-around player on both sides of the court, averaging 15.6 points, 3.1 assists, 3.8 steals while shooting 75 percent from the free throw line.

Kelci Keith, jr., Jackson

  • While the Indians did not have a dominant scorer, Keith's 3-point shooting ability provided a key spark which helped lead Jackson to the Class 5 quarterfinals.

Meridith Medlin, sr., Notre Dame

  • Medlin teamed with fellow senior Burger to form a potent scoring combo. The 5-8 guard averaged 15 points a game to complement Burger's post play.
