Corrections 8/12/05

• In the July 31 edition, due to information submitted, Cape Girardeau Senior Babe Ruth baseball assistant coach Matt Smith's name was published incorrectly.
• Gators Swim Team member Steffan Troxel's first name was misspelled in Wednesday's edition. The Southeast Missourian regrets the error.

* Also in the Wednesday edition, due to incorrect information provided to the Southeast Missourian, swimmer Lauren Castleman was listed with the wrong team. She swims for Scott City.

* In the Aug. 5 edition, in the obituary for former LSU women's basketball coach Sue Gunter, The Associated Press erroneously reported Gunter's rank on the NCAA women's basketball coaches career wins list. She was No. 3 when she retired with 708 wins, but she was since passed by Rutgers coach C. Vivian Stringer.
