- An article in the July 7 edition incorrectly stated the Scott County American Legion junior baseball team is a first-year program. The senior division team is in its first year. The junior level team had won the 2004 District 14 championship. The Southeast Missourian regrets the error.
- The Cal Ripken Baseball state tournament for boys baseball teams in the 12-year-old division will be Thursday through July 24. The paper was provided and published incorrect information in the July 14 edition. The games will be played at Field No. 9 at Brookside Park.
