BRIEFLY: SEMO VS. EIU BASEBALL GAME RAINED OUT

CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Southeast Missouri State University's scheduled Ohio Valley Conference baseball game with host Eastern Illinois was rained out Sunday.

The teams had opened OVC play Saturday by splitting a doubleheader, EIU winning the opener 2-1 and Southeast claiming the nightcap 16-7.

Sunday's contest will not be rescheduled since the OVC does not allow for makeup games.

Southeast, 13-5 overall, will return to action Wednesday with a 2 p.m. non-conference game against visiting Westminster.
