BRIEFLY: PAIR OF LOCAL GOLFERS SEEK ACES AT KIMBELAND

JACKSON -- Ed Hess of Jackson and Leon Calvin of Cape Girardeau both recorded holes-in-one Sunday at Kimbeland Country Club.

Hess used an 8-iron to ace the 142-yard, No. 6 hole. He was playing with Mike Hess, Bill Williams, Mike Kidwell and Justin Mitchell.

Calvin used a 4-iron to ace the 150-yard, No. 12 hole. He was playing with Carole Calvin.
