AREA BRIEFS: JACKSON OPTIMIST GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE TO HOLD REGISTRATION
The Jackson Noon Optimist will hold registration for its girls basketball league Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m.-noon at Jackson Middle School. The league will have four divisions: Grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-12. Play will begin in early January and conclude with a tournament in late February. Registration fee is $25.
