Last August I was on I-55 coming back from my sister's funeral. I had car trouble and pulled over on the interstate. I was very afraid, because I was alone and did not want to turn on my emergency lights because of all the bad things I'd read and heard about. Before I knew it, a big truck stopped, and the driver walked back to my car and asked if I needed help. He told me the nearest mile marker, and I called a wrecker service. The truck driver took me to a restaurant in your city. The girls there were so sweet to me. Soon my car was back and I was on my way.
There are angels everywhere. I met a few angels that day. With all the bad things that happen all the time, it makes all of us afraid. Thank you to all those who helped me that day. I am 73 years old, and they made my day.
