THE PUBLIC MIND: UNITED WAY GIVES THANKS FOR PAPER COVERAGE OF AWARDS

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the United Way, I want to express our appreciation to you for the excellent articles and photographs by the Southeast Missourian featuring the winners of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company volunteers.

Peggy Scott and Fred Lynch did an outstanding job and we appreciate their efforts. The Editorial was a pleasant surprise and an excellent tribute to the four winners. All of the articles have been sent to the Division Manager, Public Relations for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in St. Louis.
