I'M CALLING IN regards to abortion. I just went through a major surgery to find out I could never have children. Never enjoy the feeling of life growing inside me, you know it makes me plumb sick to think of a woman who is blessed with life inside her womb and thinks she can just murder that precious life. All I have to say is to all the women who has murdered their babies, I just wished you'd been murdered before you were born, because you don't deserve to live. From an angry woman who can't bear children.
WHY IS THAT when we are arrested that we have a right to remain silent, which the 5th amendment, but when it comes to an IRS audits you, you have no right to remain silent. Is this a fact that the 5th amendment no longer stands with the IRS. Thank you.
THERE ARE STILL knights in shining armor out there, I just meet two of them. They were driving a truck that said city of Cape. I was stranded out on Route K with a flat tire and a broken jack, when two men with flouresent green vest pulled their truck over to help. When I mentioned that I had an important appointment in fifteen minutes they changed that tire faster than they do at the Indi-500. I really appreciate what they did for me and just what to give them another big thank you.
THE MAN WHO never stubs his toe is probably standing still.
WOULD IT BE possible to print in the paper the route of the homes in Cape Girardeau that are entering the Christmas decorating contest so everyone can drive by to see them. Thank you.
The Southeast Missourian does plan to print the names and locations of the Holiday of Lights Tour winners. The winners will be chosen Monday night, and will appear in the newspaper some time next week.
I THINK IT was really a disgrace that the Southeast Missourians sports department failed to include anything in their Sunday edition in the paper about the SEMO Otakians out two road wins Friday and Saturday night against Northeastern Illinois and University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. That really showed a lack of professionalism on the part of the Southeast Missourian and their sports department. Thank you.
The publisher agrees, and has taken action to remedy this situation.
HELLO CAPE GIRARDEAU, I want to ask the Southeast Missourian why they do not post the scores in the sports section for the 8th, 9th grade games because there are future high school basketball players. There are future high school football players, you know, why don't you post them? That's our future. Why don't you post them? They represent us, Cape Girardeau and all these tournaments and games and all this and I have another question Junior High, why don't you have a pep bus when your boys game? Thank you.
HI SPEAKOUT, I'M delighted that tonight CNN said before we get to the Kennedy rape trial first our top story. They gave president to Carrie whatever his last name is, the hostage of five and half or six years, gave him priority. I'm so proud of them for doing that. That just sort of puts the Kennedys in the back seat and I am delighted. Thank you.
THE REALLY SCARY thing about the William Kennedy Smith rape trial is when the victim was describing how he raped her, the look on his face sitting there in the court room, the look of silence, like a stone, I mean is this an unfeeling guy or what? And even if there were some chance that he was innocence I believe he would have a tear in his eye or show some compassion. What do you think?
WHO WAS THAT beautiful woman with the little girl on the front of your TBY magazine? I looked through this three times trying to see if you have identified them, are they local people?
The woman is Marsha Wagner of Cape Girardeau. The three-year-old child is Corrie Owens, also of Cape Girardeau.
JUST A WORD of caution to that vandos who slashed tires on the Jackson R-2 District school buses last night. You better watch your back because what goes around comes around and you'll get yours. Believe me.
I'D JUST LIKE to say whoever slashed the tires on the Jackson school buses I hope they had fun because it was really stupid and it was a dumb joke.
