I WANT to comment on the Dennis Rodman inexcusable comments on the Mormons in Utah. I think that should ban him from basketball and from the country of the United States. He's no good for either one.

Surprised by coach

I WAS surprised when SEMO announced at 11 a.m. that they named Gary Garner the new head coach. He was number 4 on my list. I just can't understand why they gave him the job.

What was the horse's name?

I HAVE a question to ask. Anyone out there, I would like to know if they can remember what HopAlong Cassidy's horse's name is. I would appreciate anyone that knows that answer would give it to me in the Missourian.

I THOUGHT all your articles about the head coaching job at SEMO were great. I only wish the Southeast Missouri basketball program could have read them. After reading all of your articles, I though Bruce Weber was obviously the best one. Obviously, SEMO didn't think that way.

More jazz

WHAT THIS town of Cape Girardeau needs is a good jazz radio station. I am tired of all the country stations. What we need is a good jazz, not rock and jazz but an old-fashioned jazz station.
