This isn't the time

AT THE present time with the financial situation of the country and our city, a water park should not be the focus of the city. And if it's not feasible that private investment can't make it, why in the world would it be suggested for the city's taxpayers to support this? If business thinks it will help their sales, they should invest in this idea, not the public. I support better pay and equipment for the police and city employees and the essentials, but not when our streets are in a mess, storm-water flooding is all over town and drugs and decay are in part of our city.
