The condition of Bloomfield road currently undergoing construction is so poor that a normal vehicle can't drive on the road without bottoming out and it's doubtful an emergency vehicle can get through at all. One lane of the road has been totally destroyed with no effort to make the road even close to passable. After many months of putting up with abusive and disrespectful construction workers and city staff who do nothing to improve the situation, a total of 50 yards of both lanes have been completed. We realize a certain amount of inconvenience goes with the project, but the current conditions are disgraceful. While I'm sure we can count on the council members to be there for the ribbon cutting I would suggest they take a ride on Bloomfield road to assess for yourself.
My intuition tells me that it has been stopped but that for the last 6 months or so deep state federal government intelligence operatives hacked into extraordinarily secure computers of the Southeast Missourian and prevented my Speak Out comments from being published. However, I can't prove it and at times wonder if I may have sunken into a state of serious paranoia.
I am so sick of every time I turn the news on there is something about how this group or that group fighting President Trump. We finally have a president that has some common sense about what the majority of this country wants to see happen and all they can do is set road blocks. No solutions because their solution is to throw money at anything and everything. I hear of total disrespect aimed at the first family all the time and if a smidgen of that would have been directed at the last president the liberals and the press would have had many of these groups and individuals in jail. I don't think they will ever get over Hillary's loss. When re-election time comes and these road block politicians are up for re-election, you may see many new faces.
