I am curious why the weather bulletins and alarm testing alerts can't wait to come on until a commercial comes on. So many times you have to wait for the alert to go through before you can continue listening to what someone is talking about. I know the alert system is very important, but why can't they do it during a commercial so they don't interrupt the regular programming?...

City survey
WHY would the city vote to allocate $20,000 to hire a telemarketer to get suggestions from Cape Girardeau residents on how to run the city more efficiently? Are they that out of touch? My suggestion is to do it through Speak Out and stop spending our money.
Eyesore
HOW long is the city going to allow the building by the old theater on Broadway to remain? I think the city needs to lay down the law or give the owner one year to fix it up. Simply putting a for sale sign on the building is not acceptable.

Union solution
IN regards to the teachers union, I believe all unions should be dissolved and raises and benefits should just be voted on by the employees -- just like our senators and congressmen do for themselves.
Meth labs
IF a state is first or second in the number of meth lab busts, it does not necessarily mean that the state is first or second in meth production. It could mean that law enforcement is doing a better job in that state.
VA care
I'VE received VA care for over six years and have found the VA system filled with professional caregivers. Up front, I realized that my health care experience would be guided by my preparedness and honesty. I was prepared with all of the necessary supporting documents that any military member knows to provide. I brought in my files with my various line of duty investigations, witness statements and the like.
