If every employee and every business were as friendly and run as well as the Jackson Post Office, the world would be a better place!
Thank you to the very nice person who turned in my purse at the Wal-Mart service desk today. I appreciate it very much.
Thank you to the good people who returned my wallet at Wal-Mart. I know there was a pickup truck sitting next to me with some young girls in it. Very young girls. And I don't know if they're the ones who turned it in, but whoever it was, I didn't have money in it, but I sure had credit cards and my Medicare cards. They were very important to me and it was very nice to have those returned to me. So, whoever returned it, thank you very much. It was such a relief to get it back.
On my way to work this morning, in a 30-mile stretch, I passed a dozen vehicles on the right side, because they're driving on the left side when they're not passing anybody. Do people realize they can get a ticket for staying in the passing lane too long without passing anybody?
Yes, it's fine and dandy that they've got gas prices down. But what about our electrical companies that continue to gouge us? I suppose there's supposed to be oversight, yet time after time they're allowed to raise the prices. Who's going to watch out for us, because I would think the electrical companies are making plenty of money?
I am pro-life, and those who are not will never get my vote.
Does Ameren seem to think that because we're saving a couple of bucks at the gas pump that we should turn around and give it to them?
