Patrick Naeger lost his cool,
Thinks Jason Crowell is quite the fool
For reasons that I'm not so sure.
Hope anger management is the cure.
*** Terror threat
TO the person who has his head in the sand in regard to the terrorists' threat toward the United States: Please review the testimony that Leon Panetta, director of the CIA; Robert Mueller, director of the FBI; and Lt. Gen. Ron Burgess, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, gave on Feb. 2 at the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on worldwide threats facing the United States, which was chaired by U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, in which they all testified and agreed that al-Qaida can be expected to attempt an attack on the United States in the next three to six months. We can only pray that the sky is not falling.
I'M not so concerned about having food labeling as to where a product was grown and packaged. I also want to know if it was grown using a safe process and what chemicals were used on it.
DON'T blame the Democrats. Don't blame the Republicans. It's your fault. You want Washington to fix your problems now, if not sooner. At the same time, you want lower taxes, less government and less spending. There's no rational way elected representatives can resolve these inherent contradictions. Educate yourself, get a life or shut up.
WHEN are the Cape Girardeau police going to do something about illegal parking downtown on Main Street. Every day someone is either double-parked or parked in a section that clearly states no parking or loading zone. You can hardly drive down Main street without have to go into the oncoming lane to pass a car that is double-parked. And what does it take to issue a ticket to people who have been living in Cape Girardeau for over a year and still have out-of-state license plates?
SOMEONE told their child that school was in session when all others were dismissed because there was a basketball game that night. The parent asked us if we thought that was sad. Yes, I do. I think it's sad that you would lie to your own child.
LIKE some have said concerning the health care proposal, perhaps it would be a good idea to start all over with Mount Auburn Road.
Those who should know did indeed say there is a 100 percent chance of an attempted terrorist attack on the U.S. in the coming months. However, the usual Speak Out chatter and confusion has wrongly left the impression that the experts said the attack will be successful.
