ALL sides of the political equation are lackeys for Wall Street. They sanction, through continued deregulation, massive corporate profits and the obscene compensation and bonuses for corporate managers. Most of that money is funneled upward from the U.S. Treasury.
ONCE again, the health and rights of people to live in peace and financial security will be challenged by a few who lack respect for those who work hard and try to raise their family in a clean, safe environment. I am referring to the two quarries that want to locate in the back yard of our schools and homes in Fruitland.
Jackson revitalized

Thanks, Morley
THANK you, Morley Swingle, for injecting some sanity into the debate over making OTC cold medicine illegal. People who have a legitimate need and desire to have a product should be able to get it, even if it means that they have to register for it.
Waste of time
I think the desire to make Cape smoke-free is a waste of money and time. The number of establishments in Cape that allow smoking are small compared to those that don't.
Return flags
THOSE who stole the American flags that our church, Trinity Lutheran, put out to honor our veterans, please return them, and no questions will be asked.
