Mail complaint

I do not know what that postmaster general is thinking. But I am not getting my mail until almost 6 p.m. every day. I'm 65 years old and I have never gotten my mail in the dark before. But this year, all of a sudden, we're getting our mail in the dark. I know they're not making the dark come any sooner than it used to. But those mail carriers are out walking around in the dark. I don't understand it. It can't be very efficient. I thought the post office was going broke. Why aren't they doing something more efficient? This isn't it. I hope that postmaster general can find something else to do with those boys.

JFK 50 years ago

I'll never forget that day 50 years ago when the shots rang out in Dallas that took our 35th president of the United States, JFK. I was 14 and had just come back from lunch and was sitting in civics class in ninth grade, when the announcement came over the PA system that President Kennedy was dead. I don't think there has been, or ever will be, a president to measure up to him, sorry to say.
