It should be noted The Arrow was in the top division and competed against student newspapers at the University of Missouri-Columbia, the University of Missouri-St. Louis, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Missouri State University, Saint Louis University, Lindenwood University, Washington University and the University of Central Missouri.

Special congratulations go to editor Logan Young, who has taken her role seriously, and managing editor Jay Forness. Logan worked temporarily during Christmas break at the Southeast Missourian.

The Arrow is managed with student editors and a partnership with Rust Communications, which owns the Southeast Missourian. Southeast Missourian staff provide editorial, technical, printing, advertising and other support to the newspaper. It's been a rewarding experience working alongside the students. The professors at the school are committed as well, helping give the students the building blocks upon which to go beyond just the basics.

Congratulations to everyone who has touched the Arrow in the past year. Your effort is appreciated.
