Peace Park opens along with Food Truck Friday

Come on out from 5 to 8 tonight to enjoy some food truck fare.

The Scout, an email newsletter produced in partnership with rustmedia, is hosting the event in the parking lot behind the Rust Center for Media at 325 Broadway. One of the food trucks will be parked on Broadway to indicate the location.

Rustmedia is a marketing agency associated with the Southeast Missourian and Rust Communications. It's the same agency that brings you the Shipyard Music Festival, regional magazines such as Flourish, B Magazine, TBY and others; and it also provides a wide range of marketing services for businesses. The staff will enjoy meeting you.

The Food Truck event is a good companion to the First Presbyterian Church's unveiling of the new sculptures to accompany the new Peace Park further down Broadway. It will be a good evening to check out the new space presented by the church and grab some food and drink just up the street afterward.
