Ever since I have read the heart warming tribute to Ecrue Jones, and the account of her life and family in the Southeast Missourian, which appeared recently, I have felt a deep urge to give gratitude to the person who so kindly recognized her greatness, steadfastness, patience and determination Ecrue Jones had in teaching the students she served so diligently.

Her goal was to help students gain the education which is of such necessity today.

I hope this fine article written by Joe Sullivan will warm the hearts of those who do not understand Ecrue Jones motto in life was that of people helping people. She certainly deserves the credit that is due her.
