LETTERS: THANKS FOR HELPING SCHOOL PAPER

To the editor:

As the school year comes to an end, we at St. Vincent de Paul School wish to thank you for another year of collaboration between the Southeast Missourian staff and ours. Our seventh-and-eighth-grade newspaper staff created four newspapers this year called The Bobcat Spirit. Your reporters and staff came to school to meet with our students. They provided valuable information about writing news stories, provided examples of layouts and artwork and helped us with proofreading. They patiently answered all student questions and created very interactive lessons for these budding young writers. Your printers did a wonderful job, and the newspapers looked professional. Our students were proud of their accomplishments.

Special thanks to Mark Kneer, who helped us at every turn, and to contact person Leigh Ann Asmus. We look forward to working with all of you again next year.
