On behalf of the board of directors of the Area Wide United Way, we want to thank the Missourian for its generous support of our 1996 campaign and all that you do to support our efforts throughout the year.

The results of your employee campaign matched by your corporate gift clearly display your philosophy of caring for the community. This, combined with the YELL program and the many other things you do for the community, exemplifies your giving spirit. As leaders in this community, your support means a lot to us and to the community as a whole.

I hope you will take a moment to take pride in the role you play and the significant contributions you make. Please pass our thanks on to your staff for all they do in making our community great.
